Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved the movie and Loved the book just as much This book was great. I had been a fan of the movie for a long time before purchasing this book. I was not disappointed. So good. I wish there were more books in this style.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good book. It's a very good book, although I was expecting a bit more action. Still a great read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still Evilly Good! Even though we all know the ending from the movies, the source novel is still a great read. Would have been nice to have more details on the future plans for Rosemary's devillish baby. I found that the theological and metaphysical aspects of the story fascinating and wish there was more of this. A classic horror novel.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from too much hype! whatever the reviews had said...it didn't scare me off that much. sure its gripping but I wasn't expecting such a bizarre ending. At least the author should have mentioned the purpose of all this witchcraft? I can understand why Guy was involved in all this but what were others getting in return of a Satan's baby. I just don't get it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I thought I would love it, but... I recently read Rosemary's Baby for part of a review series I did on my friend's Blog for Halloween. I went into this novel with pretty much non-existent expectations and it still managed to disappoint. I feel like it's me and not the book that was the problem. I generally try not to bash a book because an author puts so much effort into churning out a novel and it makes me feel bad to not be able to appreciate their craft. But Hot Damn this book and I just could not get along. I found Rosemary insufferable and profoundly daft. The story was incredibly predictable to me...like how did she not see any of this coming...I mean none of it, absolutely none! Her aimless following of whatever her husband felt was best had the effect of nails on a chalkboard and just downright grated my nerves. Arghhhhh! #plumreview

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible pervesity This book is so amazing, the suspence is holding you until the end. I've started it one evening and I wasn't able to go to sleep until I had finished it. The puzzle Ira Levin had created in this novel is enormous and horrible, and you discover it little by little at the same time that Rosemary, the heroine. The end is so special your mind won't accept it.
