about

New York Times bestseller

Amy Tintera’s YA fantasy trilogy blends the romance of Kiera Cass’s Selection series and the epic stakes of Victoria Aveyard’s Red Queen in a story of revenge, adventure, and unexpected love.

Emelina Flores has nothing. Her home in Ruina has been ravaged by war; her parents were killed and her sister was kidnapped. Even though Em is only a useless Ruined—completely lacking any magic—she is determined to get revenge.

Her plan is simple: She will infiltrate the enemy’s kingdom, posing as the crown prince’s betrothed. She will lead an ambush. She will kill the king and everything he holds dear, including his son.

The closer Em gets to the prince, though, the more she questions her mission. Her rage-filled heart begins to soften. But with her life—and her family—on the line, love could be Em’s deadliest mistake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! Omg yes! This is a revenge story! The romance doesn't come off as lazily done but rather shows a lot of growth, learning and communication/forgiveness. I laughed since the main girl tends to enter a room, count her enemies and think of how and how fast she can kill them which was quite refreshing every once and a while. Really excited to purchase the sequel...and the covers are awesome! Her sister is going to be interesting to watch and I have a feeling she's gonna need to be contained or killed off. I really wanna see where the forbidden romance takes the leads and the story (I'm a sucker for Romeo and Juliet style romance). I loved how the magic and powers were described and displayed--I hope there will be more of a focus on them now that we've got our characters, world and politics established

Praise for REBOOT: “A fascinating premise, delivered in gory and glorious cinematic detail—and with a healthy dose of romance…The quick pace, familiar yet altered setting, and strong humanitarian message will draw Hunger Games fans.”
