about

A woman on the run collides with a danger more lethal than she feared in this Ghostwalker novel by #1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan.

Ghostwalker Kane Cannon is pure male—animalistic, sexual, protective, instinctive—and his past missions have prepared him for anything. But his newest assignment, to rescue hostages in Mexico, plunges him into a hot zone he never anticipated: the hiding place of Rose Patterson—fugitive, ex-lover, a fellow Ghostwalker pregnant with his child.

Rose is in flight from the insidious experiments that still live in her dreams, and from the madman who’d do anything to take her child. Of all the Ghostwalkers enlisted to hunt her down, Kane is the only one she can trust. But as their passion reignites, the stakes are raised. Because Kane is now a wanted man as well. And together they’re about to face the most desperate challenge of all: staying together and staying alive.
Christine Feehan is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Carpathian series, the GhostWalker series, the Leopard series, the Shadow Riders series, and the Sea Haven novels, including the Drake Sisters series and the Sisters of the Heart series.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just Okay Firstly, I am a fan of CF and love her Ghost Walkers and Sea Haven series. I've even read a couple of her books in the Dark series. CF is a great writer for the imagination. However, I only gave this book two stars because after nine books in the series, everything is starting to sound repetitive and nothing is fresh. You have the same villian, the same victims and the same good guys. And you have the same plot - catch the bad guy and save the victims. Everything starts repeating itself. For me, it would have been better if the author picked only a handful of heroes to focus on. Instead, it feels like she's trying to give every hero a happy ending which is great but now everything is just repetitive. I suspect there is another Ghost Walker novel coming soon as the ending is left open and nowhere near to being concluded. I imagine there will be another book for Javier and Paul. Still, for CF fans the book is still a good weekend read.
