Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great instalment Man the worlds keep expanding and expanding. I continue to love the art and creativity of this series. It feels like there are no limits in Saga and you just keep discovering more species and worlds. This volume follows the family's time in Quietus and picks up from where they left off in Volume 2 (one of my fav arcs out of the series so far). Awesome!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Saga, Vol. 3 by Brian K. Vaugha another great volume in what is shaping up to be an outstanding series. there were even some sharks in it this time! what i liked most about this installment was how meta it was - there was so much time devoted to talking about books, the process of bringing books into the world, the joy of being confronted with stacks and stacks of new books, and there were some funny little jabs at authors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn't slow down I can't think of another series that just continues on such a perfect pace. There's no dips or lulls in the story, every chapter, every scene, every frame seems to be meticulously planned and feeds the bigger picture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from firing on all cylinders It's rare that a series stays so consistently great as Saga does. Staples artwork and characters are awesome. Vaughns story telling is inspired. We're firing on all cylinders and there's no hint of letting up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of Image's best In this volume Alana and Marko decide they are going to go looking for the author of the romance book they read. A little bit of meta brilliance thrown in there for a nice touch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best comic series you will ever read! Of course I began reading Saga, Volume 3 the second I finished volume 2. I mean how could you not? I have literally put everything else aside so I could continue reading this fabulous series. Once again, all of our favourite main characters are back for some more action! The writing has remained flawless and the character development has been fantastic! We also meet EVEN MORE new characters, but my personal favourite has to be Mr. Heist! I loved learning more about Gwendolyn and what her role will be as a character in this story. Fiona Staples has continued creating fantastic art and new creative characters time and time again. She has definitely become one of my favourite artists in the graphic novel universe! By the end of this volume, we realize there is going to be a time jump at the beginning of the next volume! I love when stories throw in a little flashback or time jump to spice things up a little and provide us with a little change of environment. I didn’t yet own Saga, Volume 4 when I finished reading this volume, but I can assure you I ordered it the second I finished reading…and it arrived less than a day later! Thank you Indigo…and thank goodness your warehouse is in the city where I just so happen to live! Can you say fast delivery?!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The saga grows While "Saga" is still very much Marko and Alana's story, with the crisp and clear voice of their daughter Hazel narrating, Volume 3 gives more attention to their many pursuers (a royal robot, a freelance bounty hunter, a scorned ex-lover, and new to the fodder, a tabloid journalist and photographer). It doesn't take away from the plot, but Brian K. Vaughan makes good use of the supporting cast to expound on the plot and drive it forward while supplementing the growth of our leads. I have a love-hate relationship with every character for they are reckless and disagreeable that I want to give them a earful, and yet distinctively fragile and endearing that I just want to tell them, "Everything is going to be ok." But will it? What will Volume 4 hold for them? Let the wait begin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This series is everything I can't get enough of this absolutely out-of-this-world stunning series. Alana and Marko are still on the run to protect their child, they find solice at the home of author D. Oswald - but things don't stay calm for long. New characters are introduced and tears are shed in the pages of this volume.
