Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow Damn it. I don't think I've ever teared up over a graphic novel before. Can't say that any more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic I don't know what's up with me lately, but I've been crying whilst reading a lot of things, and this volume of Saga was no exception. <i>"If a chain is only as strong as its weakest link, then a family is more like a rope. We're lots of fragile little strands, and we survive by becoming hopelessly intertwined with each other."</i> Saga takes place in space and tells the story of two people from opposing sides of a war who've fallen in love and had a baby. It's narrated by said child, and that's basically the shortest summary I can possibly give you. Of course, I won't spoil volume 7 for you, but I have to say that, so far, it might have been the most emotional volume of the series. I cried and I laughed, but mostly, I cried. As usual, the art was out of this world, and the story was touching and impossible to forget. I liked this volume just as much as the first and the sixth, which were my favourites so far, and I can't wait until I get to read the eighth since Vaughan and Staples seem unable to come up with anything that isn't, to put it politely, fucking fantastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A little bit calmer This volume actually gave me some breathing room, still momentous but instead of 80 different things bombarding the senses, it was more like 8 - so was easy to sit and enjoy like a nice sipping rum, after so many volumes of height of the party madness

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An amazing ride from start to finish The story in this volume keeps you glued to the pages. It was an emotional ride from start to finish. In my opinion, volume seven is the most highly charged plot line of all the volumes so far. And of course the art is gorgeous. If you haven't picked up the series yet, you need start reading it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Saga, Vol. 7 by Brian K. Vaughan This one blew my mind. I've said before that all comics should use this as a standard to create by, and it's no less true now. Indeed, with all these things happening, I'm about ready to start a petition against the writer and the artist to tone it down and give me a breath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Know I'll Love It! I'm picking up a copy tomorrow, and I already know it's going to be amazing! Everytime Saga has a new release, I buy it, read it that very day, and then wait a year for the next one! It's the best, most underrated Comic...and I'm addicted to it. As much praise and notice that this series gets, it doesn't get enough, it's beautiful, heartbreaking, violent, exciting and everything in between!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best volume in some time Saga continues to leave me at a loss for words
Date published: 2017-04-19
Rated 4 out of 5 by from And then... "One moment, the universe presents you with this amazing opportunity for new possibilities... and then..." And then. Saga, you're breaking my heart. I have aways known the series to be quite dark and distressing, but this volume is definitely one of the most emotionally painful to bear, and one of the best in a while. I'm at a loss for words so I'll leave you with another tremendous quote from our favourite gal pal, Hazel... "Sooner or later, every last echo fades. Even the loudest thunder in the deepest valley." *sniff* / (who knew Saga is so quotable)
