Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great inspiration! This is a book for inspiration on making salads at home; with ideas on how to make the type of meal that would run $12 at the local gourmet salad bar. Even the standards such as Caesar salad feel dressed up and interesting. And the dressing options all sound so great compared to anything you can buy in a store. My one complaint is that while the photos are nice, in this day and age I do sort of expect a picture of every recipe and there are some long chunks with no pictures. The dressings would have been even more appealing with images! That said, I liked this enough that I bought it after borrowing it from the library.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gives new life to boring salads This book is a real eye opener if you've been used to lettuce salads! Think of Caesar - romaine lettuce and stale bread cubes! This will up your expectations! The recipes are grouped into seasons which helps (however, when you live in the boonies as I do, then some fresh ingredients may be hard to get in the winter - radicchio? Forget it!) I haven't made a salad in this book yet that I didn't like. Try Gingery Beets and Lentils and Tempeh Rubenesque Salad!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Book . Easy to Follow Recipes. Lot's of fun options I am so happy with this book. The salad recipes are very creative and have lots of diverse flavours. I've made a few things out of it and it's all turned out really well! She does have a couple of recipes at the end of the book that I think don't really go with the theme so I'd rather have had more salad switch up ideas but that's the only thing I'd change.
