Rated 5 out of 5 by from Scott Pilgrim Vs. The Great Review This series is great, it's funny, appealing and light hearted. However, you will have to be a geek, gamer and most likely somewhere in your 20's (physically or in your heart) to get it. It's well written and amusingly illustrated. If you liked the movie, this is a different beast. Not a completely different beast; Scott, Ramona, Gideon and the rest are all present. But the ending is fairly different and the tone of some of the characters is different as well. Both are good reads (or watches) but if you have already seen the movie you will still have something new to experience here. If you grew up with video games and/or ever had your heart broken (or maybe unintentionally broken a few yourself) you will enjoy with series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better then the movie I really enjoyed the movie so when I saw the box set for sell and I had to buy it. I'm two books into the series and I'm loving it better then the movie. I love the geek/tech/gamer humor.
