Rated 5 out of 5 by from A really awesome story! I won't review the plot because the publisher does that well enough. I loved this book, it was enthralling, suspenseful and had great pacing. Gedge writes so well, her writing paints such vivid pictures in the minds eye. I'm a picky reader and the only problem I had was my paperback copy had spelling and grammar errors galore. They editors missed things like quotations, periods and the spell checker missing things like "Bad" when it should have been "had". It kind of threw me off the pace a bit but it was a great book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spellbinding I've noticed that it's very rare for me to find fault with Gedge's novels. With Scroll of Saqqara, it's most certainly true. A haunting, bittersweet, and tragic story, so enticing it's hard to put down. One of her best.
