The first book in a thrilling animal fantasy series following the epic journey of three bears, from the #1 nationally bestselling author of Warriors.

When three young bears from different species—black, polar, and grizzly—are separated from their families, fate brings them together on a path that will change their lives forever. Along the way, they will face great danger, terrible tragedies, new landscapes, and situations that require all their ingenuity to survive.

For fans of Warriors, Survivors, and animal fantasy series like Wings of Fire and Foxcraft, Seekers is a sweeping and incredible journey through the beautiful, dangerous world of wild bears.

Erin Hunter is inspired by a love of cats and a fascination with the ferocity of the natural world. As well as having great respect for nature in all its forms, Erin enjoys creating rich mythical explanations for animal behavior. She is also the author of the bestselling Seekers and Survivors series.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just Meh I'll start with saying I've read the first two series of Seekers but it left much to be desired. Being the same authors as the Warrior Cat books as a child I had high expectations of this new series when it first came out. The books themselves had a good potential for a good story but it ended up being pretty boring with the bears just endlessly traveling trying to get to their destination. You could write forever about that as the authors tend to like to drag the stories out. Some positive things about the book would be you do learn a lot about the different kinds of bears, it takes you from the forests to mountains and tundra. If your child is looking for something to read and has nothing else or seems excited by all means give them this book but personally I see it as just another way the authors pull in money with a sub par story and pretty covers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Okay dokey I love bears and I love Erin Hunter, so this should be a good series. I really wonder what this book is about though. I found some info on what the bears names are on, and it's really helpful. Anyways, the bears are: Kallik the polar bear, Lusa the black bear, and Toklo the grizzly bear. This should be a really exciting series. My little review, or preview is done now.
