Four friends are excited to play together, but each one has a different idea of what they should do. Period (the serious one) believes they should go to the library. Question Mark (the confused one) wonders whether they can chase butterflies... or was it whether butter flies? Comma (the hungry one) just runs on and on about food. Exclamation Point (the crazy one) wants to go on lots of extreme adventures! That are dangerous! And exciting! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such a fun and educational book My kids love books that make them laugh, I love a book that helps them learn something. This book brings all of that together into one colourful package. The best part, even I love reading it over and over again. Which is good, because my kids keep asking for it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Funny, Educational, and Beautifully Illustrated On first reading, our 5 year old was killing himself laughing. Second reading was immediately scheduled for bedtime, and since then it's become a bedtime favorite. It came at a perfect time as he is just learning to read and beginning to notice the punctuation marks. It's funny, beautifully illustrated, and educational. Highly recommended.

Editorial Reviews

A useful teaching tool, the book explains the meaning of different punctuation marks and provides many examples of their use. The characters and their speech bubbles each have their own color and speak in sentences that contain their own type of punctuation. Their faces convey a wealth of emotion and several well-placed details add elements of discovery to the reading." - School Library Journal"
