by Angie Sage, Mark Zug

HarperCollins | October 13, 2009 | Kobo Edition (eBook)

Septimus Heap, Book Three: Physik is rated 4.55 out of 5 by 20.

When Silas Heap unSeals a forgotten room in the Palace, he releases the ghost of a Queen who lived five hundred years earlier. Queen Etheldredda is as awful in death as she was in life, and she's still up to no good. Her diabolical plan to give herself everlasting life requires Jenna's compliance, Septimus's disappearance, and the talents of her son, Marcellus Pye, a famous Alchemist and Physician. And if Queen Etheldredda's plot involves Jenna and Septimus, then it will surely involve Nicko, Alther Mella, Marcia Overstrand, Beetle, Stanley, Sarah, Silas, Spit Fyre, Aunt Zelda, and all of the other wacky, wonderful characters that made magyk and flyte so memorable.

With heart-stopping action and a dash of humor, Angie Sage continues the fantastical journey of Septimus Heap.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good book! I enjoyed this book quite a bit. It took me a little while to really get into it but once I was, I couldn't put it down. The fact that the story switched back and forth between perspectives was a bit confusing but it flowed fairly well. Also the bolding of every magic word irritated me but it's easy to look past that. The plot developed nicely and the ending was well done. Some things were left unresolved but I imagine that is to be addressed in later books.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my favorite series' It took a few pages for me to get into the story, but once Marcia visits the Heaps, I was hooked. I read it straight through, barely pausing to eat and sleep. I love magical stories, especially written for children, because there's so much imagination. Angie Sage did not disappoint me in this series starter. Definitely recommend to fans of Harry Potter (or magic, really).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from incredible read! This is one of the most wonderful stories I have ever read! Knowing it is the first in a series, made it even more wonderful. It is a "Lyte Reade" and suitable for most readers. The adventure is a little scary at times for younger readers perhaps, but will enchant any reader at any age! (having achieved 40 myself, I loved it!) Brilliant!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This book is the dumbest book ever!!!!!!!!!!! The point of the book is that Septimus Heap gets kidnapped and he joins the army. He is foced to join or else the wicked Marcia Overstrand will kill him! Meanwhile Silas Heap and his wife Sarah are taking care of Jenna, the orphan priness. Septimus is know as Boy 412 and he is ordered on a mission to kill the Queen. He succeeded and this is how Jenna was orphaned. I think Angie Sage stretched the book waaaaaaaaaay to much! Don't waste yor time on books like this or any books like Harry Potter, The Prince and the Popper and anything like that! This is a stupid book! I wouldn't want to rate this book at all but it made me to publish this review!!!!!

He was glued to it for two days. out of curiosity I decided to read the first few chapters just to see what it was all about. I was hooked. The book held my curiosity til they very end. My son and I had a littel tiff , as he wanted the book back to finish reading it and I did not want to give it up.. needless to say once we both finsihed I rushed out to get book 2.
