Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finding Daylight This book was referred to me by a friend who also lost her husband in his 50s in sudden ( less than 24 hours) death. I read this at about the 5 month point and found it to be thought provoking, soothing, and spiritual. It was as if Elizabeth got into my head and was hearing what I had been thinking and experiencing. The author, whose husband died at 43, is able to speak to the survivors of any loved one - spouse, parent, child, partner. Her use of stories from real individuals is heartwarming and heart-wrenching. Read this book when you have time to think and reflect, and return to previously read chapters. An excellent read with an extensive list of resources.
