Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay It was convoluted at first. There should be more time spent on the Colossus instead of the kids running away. It was an okay start but should have got to the journey part a bit faster. It seemed once they found the Colossus, the story was rushed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Colossal! This book was great and very well written, with a cool idea! However, the plot was rather crammed and I felt the main two events of the story (spoiler alert) are when Marco gets lost and when Cass gets lost. Then at the end Marco gets lost again! I'll probably still buy the next book, though. Definetly enjoyed this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Colossal! This first book to the awesome new series is epic. This is a definite should read for all Percy Jackson fans as Lerangis has crossed Greek Mythology with archaeology in the Seven Wonders.
