The final book in the New York Times bestselling trilogy, perfect for fans of Battlestar Galactica and Prometheus!

Amy and Elder have finally left the oppressive walls of the spaceship Godspeed behind. They're ready to start life afresh—to build a home—on Centauri-Earth, the planet that Amy has traveled 25 trillion miles across the universe to experience.

But this new Earth isn't the paradise Amy had been hoping for. There are giant pterodactyl-like birds, purple flowers with mind-numbing toxins, and mysterious, unexplained ruins that hold more secrets than their stone walls first let on. The biggest secret of all? Godspeed's former passengers aren't alone on this planet. And if they're going to stay, they'll have to fight.

Amy and Elder must race to discover who—or what—else is out there if they are to have any hope of saving their struggling colony and building a future together. They will have to look inward to the very core of what makes them human on this, their most harrowing journey yet. Because if the colony collapses? Then everything they have sacrificed—friends, family, life on Earth—will have been for nothing.
Beth Revis is the author of the New York Times bestselling Across the Universe series. Beth lives in rural North Carolina with her husband and dog, and believes space is nowhere near the final frontier.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Open Ended Ending I thought this book was the most interesting since the frozen people wake up, including Amy's parents who are wary of Elder being in charge. Pretty interesting, especially when their ship landed and I loved the twist. The ending wasn't the greatest but I guess it could have been worse.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from An Okay ending This book is the only one with a different setting from the first two and it felt foreign to this series. There was the addition of more characters and it almost felt like a different book, but it was a satisfying conclusion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shades of Earth I like this a lot, be sure to read the Across the Universe, and A million stars before this one or you won't get a HUGE part of the plot. Amy and Elder are brave and cute. This is a book that teaches about leadership, and how hard it can be, the obstacles and how to overcome them. It is a little freaky and strange when your left in suspense..but if you keep reading it gets better. :-) The ending is a bit of a bummer, but other then that it is very epic
