Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great book This is a great book. I really enjoyed reading it athough some parts of it where a bit confusing. As you read you start to care for the character. I loved that it was long becuase to many books these days are to short. This story was very origonal and i loved it. If you love fantasy or fiction books this is a book you should read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning! This book is fantastic. Any fan of her earlier work will not be displeased with this one. Robin Hobb is an amazing writer and while I had hoped(and still hope) that she would continue with the Liveship Traders story, The Soldier Son trilogy opened up an intense and equally pleasing environment. I stayed up all night to read this one and I cannot wait to read the next part of the series. Read and enjoy.
