Who knew that getting in trouble could be so much fun?

Maya has always been the good girl. Camden is the popular jock with a bigger ego than brain. Maya never thought there'd be a reason for them to, like, interact. But when the biggest mistake of her life lands her in need of a seriously devious plan, she discovers Camden isn't as dumb as he looks. And now that Maya's playing the bad girl (lying, cheating, swindling, and, um, shopping), she might as well do it right and flirt with the bad boy. . . .

Cherry Cheva (full name: Cherry Chevapravatdumrong) is the author ofShe's So Money. Cherry is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, and currently lives in Los Angeles, California, where she writes for the animated seriesFamily Guy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loved It! She's So Money was a book I grabbed cause I was looking for a light hearted read, and I definitely did not expect to love it as much as I did. Maya's a hard working teenager who spends the majority of her time getting good grades, and working at her family's restaurant. A bad choice she makes while managing the restaurant however leaves her family with a huge bill that she can't bear to tell her parent's about. Enter popular jock Camden, and his bizarre idea to help Maya come up with the money she needs. They'll start a homework ring, Maya can do the popular kids homework for a fee, and in this way, everyone will win. Of course, nothing ever goes exactly as planned, and soon Maya and Camden are both in over their heads, and developing feelings for each other that were definitely not in the original plan. I absolutely loved this debut by Cherry Cheva, and I definitely hope to read more from her in the future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from In the Business of Cheating First of all, the description of the book leaves readers a bit clueless about what the book is really about, so I'll fill you in. Maya is the perfect student. She gets good marks, works hard, tutors at school and has a part time job at her parents' Thai restaurant. Her dream is to go to Stanford University and she's determined to make that happen. She then ends up being assigned to tutor Camden King, who is classified as one of the biggest jerks she has ever met and she plans to avoid him at all costs. Maya's parents then leave for a few days, and she's in charge of the restaurant. However, her and her brother take a shortcut and decide to do all the dishes the next day...which ends up leading to a $10,000 fine by the health inspector in a surprise inspection! Maya wants to keep this from her parents, so she is desperate for ways to make a lot of cash within one month. Camden then offers Maya $100 to do his assignment... and then suddenly, Camden's rich friends are also paying Maya to do their homework. Maya then expands this cheating scam into a secret business, that eventually has 7 smart kids doing assignments of 30 rich kids. The rich kids and "nerds" start to actually become friends, and everyone who is left in the dark is determined to find out why. Maya and Camden's relationship evolves throughout the novel. Just when things seem to be going great for Maya, everything seems to crash all at once. Maya must decide if she should do the right thing and risk everything she has. This novel was pretty good. There were some funny moments and some shocking ones. However, the book was a bit predictable in my opinion, but the ending of the book surprised me. This was a real page turner, and I wasn't able to put the book down! It was a fun and fast read filled with romance, betrayal, secrets and friendship.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well... ...WOW. This book was charming, witty, and SOOOO hilarious. Like my usual book, I am not going to give a plot summary or anything because honestly I think it'll be more enjoyable if you read it and found out everything about the book yourself. I definitely recommend it. My best-friend recommended it telling me I wouldn't regret the read and she is SOOO right! The author Cherry Cheva, writes the comedy for the Family Guy show, so if there's anyone out there that enjoys the comedy from the show you should totally get this book. It is her first novel. Happy Reading! :)
