Eight-year-old Nancy Drew has her first case to crack! Can you help?

Nancy and her two best friends, George and Bess, are so excited! They have been invited to Deirdre's sleepover party! There will be pizza, cake, and even a pajama fashion show. But then Deirdre's City Girls doll -- Hollywood Heather -- goes missing. Is her sleepover ruined? Or is there a detective in the room who can make sense of this mystery?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just okay My 8-year-old just wasn't into this, as nice as it would have been since there are so many books in the series. She actually preferred the dated original books.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very good I was a BIG fan of the original Nancy Drew mysteries, and I'm thrilled with this re-incarnation of Nancy, George and Bess to a third graders who solve the mystery of a doll gone missing at a sleepover. The chapters are a good length and easy to read. The story made sense and ended in true Nancy Drew fashion- "of course that's what happened!" I'm looking forward to sharing Nancy Drew with my daughter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Mystery I really enjoyed reading this book because I love reading mystery stories. In this book Nancy and her friends go to a sleepover party and while they are there a doll disappears. Nancy gathers up clues and suspects and solves the mystery with the help of George and Bess. I couldn't stop reading this book and read it all in one day. I can't wait to read more Nancy Drew and the Clue Crew books! I think any girl aged 5 to 9 would love this book, too.
