Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great book! Deep insight into the benefits of exercising John Ratey has written a fantastic book on the benefits of and science behind exercising. It tackles the major personal issues we all go through including stress, anxiety and depression; their link to chronic diseases, and the science and the benefits of exercise in alleviating these issues. The story of Dr. Robert Pyles who was diagnosed with cancer and beat it through running is a very compelling story. Keep your highlighter handy!! This book is not a one time read and put away. I find myself going back to it time and again so it serves as a great reference for me.
