about

Jelly is as surprised as anyone when he decides that he's going to win the annual sixth grade speech contest.

Just like that, Joe Alton Miles, better known as Jelly (because his initials are J.A.M. and his best friend's are P.B.), is faced with overcoming not only his terror of being in the spotlight, but also the wrath of smart, popular Victoria, who believes that the prize (like all prizes) is rightfully hers. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic! I just finished this in a marathon read-aloud session with my 11-year old. We can not wait for more of J Mook-Sang's work. Jelly will appeal to any kid grade 4-8 and adults will love him too - and hate his antagonist. Thanks so much for this book!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for kids and adults, both! Awesome book, it's kind of like seeing a Pixar movie in that the plot and characters are good enough that you can be any age and really enjoy it! Grab it for kobo or in print, you won't be disappointed.
