about

The adventure continues in this third book of the epic multiplatform fantasy series.

Erdas is a land of balance. A rare link, the spirit animal bond, bridges the human and animal worlds. Conor, Abeke, Meilin, and Rollan each have this gift-and the grave responsibility that comes with it.

But the Conquerors are trying to destroy this balance. They're swallowing whole cities in their rush for power-including Meilin's home. Fed up with waiting and ready to fight, Meilin has set off into enemy territory with her spirit animal, a panda named Jhi. Her friends aren't far behind . . . but they're not the only ones.

The enemy is everywhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Discover more of Meilin's backstory Ether as a book or an audio book version, the story is really captivating. A new universe to discover but with parallels you can build with the geography of the Earth. Why can we not care more for the nature and the other animals. A teenager story also captivating for older "forever kids" like me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The suspense goes on I had the opportunity to discover the universe of the spirit animals after the full series had been published. Therefore, I did not had to wait for the next book to come. This was a great time, which I repeated using the audio book version with my kids. You just never want to spot progressing through the story and just continue chapter after chapter and book after book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How I Loved This I bought this book last Christmas, and I'm so glad I did. Meilin, is a girl from Zhong. She is also the won who has the bond, she got a spirit animal! As long as the rest. Connor with Briggan, the legendary wolf. Rollan with Essix, a legendary gryfalcon, Abeke, with Uraza, a legendary leopard, and Meilin with Jhi, her legendary panda. This one is kind of all about her, in a way. Young, brave but stubborn, Meilin goes to her home, Zhong. Her father is there. Now, Meilin is tired of waiting. She's ready to fight. You need to be ready to read. As she waltzes into enemy territory. The enemy is everywhere. You cannot hide. No One can. This third book of the series is going to blow you away...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love it! My kids love this book series and have such an appreciation for the idea of spirit animals. I should also mention that my kids are 5 and 7 years old which may be a bit young since there were moments where they got a bit scared. However, the fear was short-lived and they wanted to continue reading. If you have kids that frighten easily, you may want to hold off for a bit.
