about

When Princess Leia Organa was captured by the Empire, she never betrayed her convictions - even after the complete destruction of her home world, Alderaan. When her rescue came, Leia grabbed a blaster and joined the fight, escaping back to the Rebel Alliance and helping strike the biggest blow against the Empire - the destruction of the Death Star! But in the aftermath of that victory, the question remains...what is a princess without a world? As Leia comes to grips with her loss, a new mission leads her to the underground world of Sullust. The Empire is rounding up fugitive Alderaanians, and that doesn't sit well with their Princess! But what can one woman do against the Galactic Empire? They're about to find out! Join the galaxy's toughest Princess on a quest to save her people and rebuild her life!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice A short and simple story involving Princess Leia. The art is really beautiful, but I feel the story could have been better. It's ok, but very short and not much happens.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Book I picked this up because of Terry Dodson's art and enjoyed this read. The art isn't quite up to his usual quality in my opinion but still good, the story is fun but not anything crazy good. I think fans of Leia will enjoy this though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good mini series exploring Leia I enjoyed this books and thought it gave Leia a nice chance to be on her own and getting things accomplished. The art is really good and the story is well written.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The true strength of the princess The Princess Leia volume expands not just on the Princess but truly on the better part of her character: her fighter side. The destruction of her planet has driven her to take the role of Princess in a more serious route and fight for the survival of her brethren. This is a well composed story that goes beyond the pure feminine character we learned about in A New Hope; it guides to understand some of the lesser seen personality that were hinted at as her role as a General.
