Rated 5 out of 5 by from Some great holiday/winter stitching projects Overall this book is lovely. Great photography, clear instructions and materials list, helpful diagrams of certain stitches and techniques. Several of the projects are super adorable... especially the little peg doll and the felt Christmas sweaters. A few of the projects weren't really to my liking/my style (I especially wasn't a fan of the solid black polar cross-stitched animal silhouette things.. too bland, black and modern), but that's common with most embroidery or cross-stitch books. There will always be a few out of 10-15 projects that aren't your taste. As long as there are 8-10 that I DO like, then the book is well, well worth it! Overall a great purchase for stitchers that like to do holiday themed gifts and decor!
