Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant I loved Kate as a character. She was strong, logical, reasonable, and level-headed in difficult situations. Nathan was perfect as her *partner*. Though I don't quite understand his nickname 'Nat' I feel like 'Nate' would have been better, but I do understand the whole rhyme thing...Kate and Nate...awww. Additionally, I am pretty confident that Damien's name was spelt differently in this book than it was in 'Storm and Stone'....hmmm. I adored the flashbacks in the book. They were written brilliantly, and though I typically hate them, I found myself looking forward to these ones. I felt like I was watching a movie.
