Rated 4 out of 5 by from The How To, of Tough Talks All of us experience difficult, touchy, or uncomfortable situations leading us to have a conversation with someone, that we would rather just avoid. Avoiding it will just not fix the problem, otherwise you would do this readily. To help figure out how to have a constructive talk and outcome, Surviving Dreaded Conversations can help. Aside from characterizing a few difficult personality types, it provides many great examples of real, challenging discussions and their outcomes. At the very least the book gives you some great ideas on how to start and handle the discussion, and bring it to a successful conclusion. A quick, super relevant read.
