Teagan Phillips's sweet sixteen is the event of the season. Other parties have been chill, sure, but no one at Rosewood Prep throws a bash as extravagant, exclusive, or over-the-top expensive as Teagan. No one is as obnoxious, either. But that doesn't stop everyone from wanting to see and be seen at her birthday.

Luckily, Teagan's in for a rude (and rather ungraceful) awakening. On the big night she falls stilettos-over-tiara into the country club wine cellar and blacks out. When she comes to, there is a strange woman standing at the foot of the stairs.

No, Teagan, this mystery woman is not one of "the help." She is here to take you on a ride, to bring you back through time and show you some very unpretty realities. And if you're lucky, she just might put the sweet back in sixteen....

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sorry Kate Brian :( Well i have read at least 8...now 9 kate brian books and i am sorry to say that it wasn't my favourite book, but i am a bit of a sap towards the end. Because i have had cancer hurt the ones around me. It wasn't the most interesting book, but it kept me reading till the end. This book reminded me alot about the book, The Christmas Carol, that i had to read for a school assingnment. I recomend it for people who liked the chirstmas carol book and would like a little teenage twist to it :D

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It got me at the end The end of this book made me cry so I guess I got invested in Teagan eventually, it just took a while. She is the ultimate spoiled princess who learns her lesson and rehabilitates and changes the world at the end! Well, not quite but trust me this isn't a spoiler. It is a very formulaic book - much more so than other Kate Brian books (which I've all loved up to this point). You know what is coming but it is still enjoyable. Like I said, I did end up crying so I did get invested. But still this is my least favourite Kate Brian book so far. Read the books below - Kate Brian also writes as Kieran Scott!
