An appetite for sensual pleasures must never be denied...
Lily Ellis has curves -- soft, beautiful curves. The kind of voluptuous body she fears Travis Carson, the man she's always loved from afar, would never crave. But Lily is about to be proven wrong. Her adventure begins when the demure San Francisco interior decorator agrees to model a plus-size dress for her fashion designer sister. Watching this sensual beauty move down the runway, Travis can't believe it's the same Lily he's always known -- and always rejected. In a whirlwind of electric attraction, Lily is soon moaning Travis's name in his bed, not just in her wild fantasies. But Lily is all too aware that she's nothing like his past lovers.
Determined to beat Travis at his own game by guarding her true feelings, Lily partners with him on a business deal that takes them all the way to Italy. In the seductive warmth of the Tuscan sun, Lily plays a game of desire with the hot-blooded Travis. Will she be burned by an all-consuming ecstasy or will Travis open his heart to the sexy, exciting, and lasting love she has to offer?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from held me captive Wow! What a rush! Andre has written a poignant romance that definitely packs a punch (or three). This author definitely isn’t afraid to turn up the heat in her stories, but at the same time, does so in a way that enhances the plot. And what a plot it is. Andre’s story is simultaneously romantic & heartbreaking, hot & sweet. She threw me for a loop more than once with twists I definitely didn’t see coming. There is a very personal feel to this story. I felt like I was a part of it, rather than simply reading about two people I’ve never met before. Andre made me laugh at and with her characters. She also brought tears to my eyes more than once, both tears of sadness and of joy. I connected with the female lead from the 1st page. She’s so real and approachable. Her fears and doubts humanize her in a very poignant way. Admittedly, there were times when you just wanted to make her realise who she could be, but seeing her journeying towards that discovery on her own was breathtaking. Coupled with a male lead who’s also learning a great deal about himself, you have a brilliant couple. Not only are they fantastic in the present, but their combined histories add a great deal to who they are today. I really enjoyed the fact that these characters have heart. These characters’ emotions are palpable. Their chemistry is unforgettable. This was a fantastic novel by a fantastic author. She combines the best of all worlds in a fantastic package. I’d highly recommend it to those looking for a romance that turns up the heat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sexy journey into love... This book was great and while I enjoyed it very much, there were times that I wasn't sure... not sure of what, exactly, I can't say, but I was either annoyed at Lily's constant putting-herself-down or gape-mouthed at the abrupt turnaround in either her or Travis's actions. But as the story progressed, it began to feel more that they were two people working their way towards something ~ something BIG ~ and such journeys are rarely direct and easy; especially when you're dealing with self-protecting behaviours learned over years and years. Both Travis and Lily were dealing with this; striving to make their feelings and attitudes mesh with what was happening between them. Overall, this story left me with a very good feeling. Not necessarily the smoothest of journeys ~ or stories ~ but this was Bella's first full-length print novel (she had three shorter ebooks released between 2003 and 2005). And I did love Travis's desire and love for Lily; he turned out to be one of the really good guys.

About the Book

A plus-sized woman finally gets the man of her dreams in this sexy contemporary romance from rising star Bella Andre.

Read from the Book

Chapter One "Me? A model? You've got to be kidding." Janica Ellis's lower lip trembled. "Please, Lily. Sonia has the stomach flu. She was my only plus-sized model. You're my last hope." Gesturing to the skimpy, colorful dresses hanging from the rack beside her, she added, "This is my big break. My first big fashion show with major buyers in the audience. You just need to model one dress for me." Under most circumstances, Lily Ellis would do anything to help out her little sister. But not when "anything" included showcasing her un-model-perfect size-sixteen body under glaring lights while tottering down a runway in stiletto heels. Already she could hear the baffled whispers from the audience of, "What is that cow doing up on the stage?" She would pass out from humiliation. She already felt painfully uncool among this cutting-edge crowd of designers and artists. Just walking the two busy city blocks from the parking garage to the Moscone Center in the very hip San Francisco, South of Market area, was enough to make Lily feel like she had the word "boring" stamped across her chest. Shaking her head forcefully, Lily raised her voice over the din of the models, makeup artists, and designers backstage. "I came to sit in the audience and applaud your incredible clothes, not to put on a skintight, see-through dress and parade around like a lumbering elephant." So then why, Lily wondered moments later, am I being poked with pins and made up by an androgynous makeup art
