Rated 4 out of 5 by from From every book, you learn something new. I hate that I am constantly reading self-help books. Why try to figue out how someone else is living instead of just living for yourself? ...because they are living better, smarter, healthier. There were many parts of this book I found kinda "hokey"...but there were more I could apply to my own life. My personal favorite is the circle diagram (p. 36). Life should be a balance of health, spiritual, relationships, work, emotional - I finally got the message. If you think you might be missing something, but you can't put your finger on it....READ THIS BOOK!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very useful This book has helped me get my life back on track and balanced. Easy to read and put into practice. A very valuable book for relationships is The Romantic's Guide. It has transformed my marriage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best I have read scores of self improvement books but this really is at the top of the list. I immediately felt a connection to what Cheryl was writing and was able to start incorporating many of the suggestions easily into my life. The problem with alot of self improvement books is that what they suggest often feels unrealistic. But Cheryl breaks it down into smaller pieces making it easy to make changes. I liked what she called 'extreme self care' and I now consciously practice it. Thanks Cheryl for all your great suggestions. I will read this book again!!
