Excerpt: ... CHAPTER NO. 193. House Biu, No. 505. (By Davidson County Delegation.) A BILL to be entitled an Act to create a municipal corp ation to be known as the "City of Nashville," and to fine its rights, powers, duties and obligations, and to peal all laws or parts of laws in conflict with the f visions of this Act. Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem of the State of Tennessee, That there is here created a municipal corporation and body politic, be known and designated as the "City of Nashvilh the boundaries of which shall be eo-extensive w the present limits of the municipal corporation, C of Nashville, which was chartered under Chap 22 of the Private Acts of 1913. Said municipal corporation shall be divided ii fifteen (15) wards. The First Ward shall include all the area wit the following boundaries, to-wit: ist ward Beginning at Jefferson Street, on the Cumb land River; thence west along the center of J ferson Street to the intersection of Eighteenth 1 onue, North; thence North along the center Eighteenth Avenue, North, to Bosley, or Hein Street; thence West along the center line of Bos Street to Twenty-first Avenue, North; the c poration line; thence Northwardly and Eastwar along the corporation line as it now exists to Cumberland River; thence Southwardly with Cumberland River to the point of beginning. The boundary lines of the Second Ward shall as follows: 2nd ward Beginning at Jefferson Street and the Crtml land River; thence Westwardly along the cen of Jefferson Street to the intersection of Ninth enue, North; thence Southwardly along the centei Ninth Avetiue, North, to the center of Joe Jo 8tU Avenue; tlience Eastwardly along Joe John0U Avenue to the center of Fourth Avenue, North; hew southwardly along the center of Fourth Avfntie, North, to...
