Roger Lancelyn Green was born in 1918. He loved storytelling and was fascinated by traditional fairy tales, myths and legends from around the world. His retellings include Egyptian, Greek and Norse legends, plus a retelling of Robin Hood. He died in 1987.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Robin Hood I liked the way the myth around Robin Hood flowed as one big story and the extra info at the back was very helpful in understanding the story better and who everyone was. This version was slightly different from others I have read but still just as good.
