The first epic novel by George and Harold, the co-stars of Dav Pilkey's mega-bestselling Captain Underpants series.

Oh, no! It's not enough that George and Harold have invented Captain Underpants, the greatest superhero of all time, and that they've also saved the world FIVE times! They defeated Dr. Diaper! They punished Professor Poopypants! And they whacked the wicked Wedgie Woman!

What task could be worse?!!? This one: As punishment, the boys have to write a 100-page report on "good citizenship," and they have been specifically ordered NOT to write another comic about Captain Underpants. So what do they do?

Aha! Meet Super Diaper Baby - the most powerful peewee to pack a punch. With Pilkey's typical over-the-edge humor, Super Diaper Baby will have kids laughing until soda comes out their noses.

Professional goofball Dav Pilkey has been riding high on the success of his irreverent comic-book/chapter-book series starring that warrior in white Y-fronts, Captain Underpants! It's a short and cottony-soft leap from underpants to diapers, so George and Harold, the grade-school pranksters who created Captain Underpants, proudly present their first "graphic novel" (a highbrow term for comic book): The Adventures of Super Diaper Baby! When evil Deputy Dangerous' scheme to steal Captain Underpants' super powers goes awry, it is mild-mannered newborn Billy Hoskins who becomes mighty! A subsequent plan to steal Billy's powers turns the villain into, well ... his canine sidekick calls him Deputy Doo-Doo, put it that way. From that point on, it's all evil robots, radioactivity and furious Flip-O-Rama action! Since it's supposed to be penned by fourth-graders, you'll have to excuse the spelling, but the usual toilet-centric and subversive Pilkey humour rules the day, to terrific effect.
