Make way for Super Diaper Baby - in this deluxe hardcover with a new 16-page bonus section!

Oh, no! It looks like George and Harold are in trouble again . . . As punishment, the boys have to write a 100-page report on "good citizenship," and they have been specifically ordered NOT to make another comic about Captain Underpants. So what do they do? They create an all-new superhero . . . Super Diaper Baby! Super Diaper Baby's archenemy, Deputy Dangerous, wants to steal his powers and take over the planet. Will the diaper-wearing dynamo defeat the deputy, or is the entire Earth doomed?

DAV PILKEY has written and illustrated numerous popular, award-winning books for children, including the Captain Underpants and Dumb Bunnies series; Dog Breath, winner of the California Young Reader Medal; and The Paperboy, a Caldecott Honor Book. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Laugh Out Loud Hilarious This was just absolutely hilarious! I loved it! Set up as one of the comics that George and Harold are always writing it starts off with the two of them getting in trouble with Mr. Krupp who assigns them an essay but tells them they cannot write one of their offensive Captain Underpants comics. Soooo, they invent a new superhero, Super Diaper Baby, and give a rollicking, laugh-out-loud comic. The whole book is written in graphic novel format and toilet humour abounds, much more so than in the Captain Underpants series, but that's ok. I thought it was plain silly and all in good fun. There are a couple of jokes that are there simply for the parent who will be reading this aloud that got a good guffaw from me. Captain Underpants fans will love this and now I'm off to read the sequel! Great fun read!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Your kids will love it and laugh like crazy! Again, definately another great book for young boys. After reading all of the captain underpants books my 8 and 5 year old wanted this one and they love it. I on the other hand am getting a little tired of hearing these books over and over again but they will definately get your kids reading!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Diaper Baby May be a little gross but, kids can really enjoy it. Although you may be offended. This also is best to be read over 8 years old. Cause the words won't be suitable for the younger ones. Thanks

Editorial Reviews

Praise for The Adventures of Super Diaper Baby:"Pilkey's latest is replete with misspellings, pleasingly bad puns and the 'flip-o-rama' feature that slips some rudimentary animation into these preposterously good-humored pages." -Publishers Weekly"Puns, jokes about bodily functions, and ludicrous misspellings will keep children . . . entertained." -School Library Journal"Children get a delicious thrill from reading forbidden and naughty things, and Pilkey has filled this niche for the emergent reader." -Kirkus
