Rated 5 out of 5 by from Magical One of my favorite books! Inspiring and wise with lessons on what is truly important in life.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a lovely fairy tale This is a lovely fairy tale with a sweet message - if you want something bad enough the universe will conspire to give it to you. It might sound simple, but when you start digging into the story I really appreciate the message that we have to play a role in making our dreams come true, and it takes work and faith in ourselves and the universe. I read it at least once a year, and often give it to friends who are at a crossroads in their own lives.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Thoroughly shallow The philosophy espoused by this book is completely vapid and sexist. This is the literary equivalent of fool's gold. #plumreview

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life changing, as cliche as that sounds This book is something else. It's short and sweet, but teaches you so much about life (I read it cover to cover on a 3 hour plane ride). I highly recommend everyone give it a read! It's the kind of book you go back to on a day you feel really down in the dumps and you're in need of a little perspective.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Intriguing Read There are plenty of people who hate this book and wish they had not read it. I wanted to find out for myself why readers were disappointed. After each page turned and chapter read I could not figure it out, I enjoyed this book, I enjoyed the personal and real journeys taken and loved the ending. If you want a book with many layers I would recommend this one to you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly written and Pseudo-intellectual The success of this book is no way related to its quality or content. The author thinly constructs a plot to describe his own 'life philosophy', which in itself is a vague patchwork of common sense and nonsensical parables. Masquerading as deep insights into the human conditions, the advice in this book amounts to little more than the elucidations of a pretentious high school student.
