Employee Review

Based on the exhaustive 1848 manual by Captain Biddlecombe, this is the bible for rigging sailing ships, from cutters and yachts to barques and brigs. It is extremely well organized, being divided into five distinct parts, and obviously designed for easily accessible reference. Needless to say, the information contained within is exhaustive. After all, the book was created for students of sail. That said, any sailing buff — including sailing ship modelists and naval historians -- should find great worth in this book, although it might not be an appropriate suggestion for the casual day-sailor.
