Rated 4 out of 5 by from You will lose weight! I bought this book because I love smoothies! The smoothie recipes taste great and are very healthy (I add lots of kale with the chia). I plan to combine the best of the Aztec Diet with the best of the Paleo Diet (and maybe a wee bit of Wheat Belly) for a delicious lifestyle change. I also like it because it is forgiving. If you want to eat high fat, high carb comfort foods, just go back to Phase 1 (smoothies) and you'll take off any weight gained. My only criticism is that I believe that when you start the diet and live in a cold climate, it can be very hard to stick to - it's March and I'm still in hibernation mode (that might be just me though). I want hot dinners on cold nights, not smoothies with frozen fruit. So, I will fully commit when the weather turns warmer.
