Baseball player Kyle Sawyer has many labels: bad boy, delinquent, ladies’ man, fearless outfielder... Only one of them is actually true. But then sweet ballet dancer Faith Gladwell asks him to help wreck her reputation, and everything goes sideways.

Faith knows a thing or two about love, and what she had with her cheating jerk of an ex wasn’t it. When he starts spreading rumors about her being an Ice Queen, Faith decides it’s time to let a little bad into her life.
Lucky for her, Kyle Sawyer—dark, dangerous, totally swoonworthy Kyle Sawyer—is landscaping her backyard over Spring Break. Shirtless. And if she can convince him to play along, “ dating” Kyle will silence the rumors.

But Faith’s plan threatens to expose Sawyer’s biggest secret of all...and that’s a risk he’s not willing to take.

Disclaimer: This book contains drop-the-book-and-fan-yourself kisses...and touches. Fall in love with a bad boy at your own risk.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This story is such a feel-good YA Romance and I gobbled it up at lightning speed, enjoying all of its charm and adorableness. If you've read almost any of my other reviews, you'll know that I am a complete sucker for sexy, sweet and vulnerable "nice guys," so I suppose it's no real surprise that: I. Loved. Kyle. He is awkward and sweet and passionate. He was such a wonderful "nice guy" hero. Faith was also great and I liked their chemistry and the adorable ways they got to know one another. The fact that this was "fake dating" with little actual fake dating and their issues weren't predominantly a lot of confusion over how real their feelings were was refreshing (much as I AM a fan of that trope!). If you go into this expecting a story about a "bad boy," you'll be surprised that this isn't the story of an actual bad boy, but more of a story about misconceptions and how those can affect us. Everyone somehow believes that Kyle, despite the fact that he is so obviously NICE, is a delinquent womanizer, all thanks to too many people who enjoy gossip too much. Faith is also eventually affected by the rumor mill, which is the catalyst for her "bargain" with the resident "bad boy." Ironically, these two are actually both more the opposite of what the rumors have declared them. This story is such a feel-good YA Romance and I gobbled it up at lightning speed, enjoying all of its charm and adorableness. I received an ARC from the publisher to voluntarily review. This is no way influenced my review. My opinion is my own.
