Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Promissing Title You get the feeling by reading this book that Jones has lots of cards up her sleeve. This book gives us just a little information, leaving the reader hungry for more. The book has it's good moments (Baralis and Maybor, both villains and always trying to kill each other...) and some bad (Magic is present in this book, but the author doesn't seem keen on writing about it). So essentially it's that kind of book that you have to read the hole series to enjoy. (Not unlike "The Eye of the World" by Robert Jordan, which you don't have to read the whole "Wheel of Time" series to enjoy). Hoping the second book will answer a lot of question this book left unanswered.
