Rated 4 out of 5 by from Epic and Exciting Finale! An epic conclusion to a fun series! This was by far my favourite of the series and provided healthy doses of action and a surprising amount of heartache (seriously I was not expecting so much!). The characters continued to go on a fantastic adventure and use their magical skills as well as their creativity, ingenuity, and a heap of recklessness to engage their foes in the thrilling climax, which had me biting my nails until the very last second. I loved Fletcher's growth and maturity as a character who had to be the constant medium between races that didn't want to work together, who had to protect a massive plot of land from being ravaged, and who was the leader of literally the raggedest soldiers I've ever seen (mostly). I would have liked a little more time with Khan, the big bad, because while he was scary, I wanted to be terrified of him, but at the end of the day, this was a great conclusion to Fletcher's story and I was happy to be part of it.
