Stan and Jan Berenstain were already successful cartoonists for magazines and adult humor books when they began writing children's books. The first story starring the bear family, The Big Honey Hunt, appeared in 1962. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Book It's a good book that shows that car trips can be good, but it can have rough patches too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like it I liked this book, it was a good reflection on appreciating what you gave around you without constantly needing to be entertained. My only complaint is this book is very geared towards American children and reminiscent of American sights so it's not as great for Canadian children.
