Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely Different What a combination! Mystery and faith. I read it because of the Rollins name, as I enjoy his work. Difficult to tell where he stops and Rebecca writes. An incredible combination. I recommend this to any and all. Now off to the next volume in the series!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome book! This is my 2nd time through as I thought I'd refresh my memory before moving onto Book 2. I read it just as obsessively the 2nd time as I did the 1st! Litmus test for any novel!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The Blood Gospel Not quite what I expected. More of a fantasy than anything else. In a way, I was disappointed. It could be considered a cross of Davini Code (but only as good as National Treasure) and Being Human with some Twilight thrown in.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Blood Gospel 1. Storey line reasonably good 2. Book too long with repetitive areas 3. Displeased that the end of the book was a bit of an anticlimax and a setup for the next in a series

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just wow Awesome, awesome book. Couldn't put it down. There are some obvious twists In the book, specifically around who the characters are and how they relate to the story but that does not detract from the overall enjoyment of the story.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just wow I've never enjoyed vampire novels. Twilight was a shameful phase during high school, and I choose not to look back at it. I downloaded this book on a whim, the description sounded interesting and I was looking for a thriller to read over the summer. I was hooked after the first chapter. The writing is so fluid and captivating, I think I finished this book within two days. I also tend to avoid series, because I HATE waiting for sequels but this one, I pre-ordered the sequel and I can't wait for this series to continue. It's amazing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just wow I have read a few of Rollins' books now and very much enjoy the historical aspect to his stories and the weaving of history and fiction. Rollins creates great characters and these were no exception. I didn't see a big difference between the style of this collaborative novel and Rollins' other stuff, so I suppose that's a good thing. I really enjoyed this book and found it to be a page-turner. The only disappointment was I didn't realize it was going to be part of a series so the reader is left hanging at the end. But I suppose it's a good thing that I am eagerly awaiting the next one.
