about

From the number one New York Times bestselling coauthor of Judge & Jury and Lifeguard comes this electrifying solo debut, The Blue Zone.

Kate Raab's life seems almost perfect: her boyfriend, her job, her family . . . until her father runs into trouble with the law. His only recourse is to testify against his former accomplices in exchange for his family's placement in the Witness Protection Program. But one of them gets cold feet. In a flash, everything Kate can count on is gone.

Now, a year later, her worst fears have happened: Her father has disappeared—into what the WITSEC agency calls "the blue zone"—and someone close to him is found brutally murdered. With her family under surveillance, the FBI untrustworthy, and her father's menacing "friends" circling with increasing intensity, Kate sets off to find her father—and uncover the secrets someone will kill to keep buried.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The blue zone This is the second book of Andrew Gross that I have read. It was simply amazing. I started yesterday and took the whole of today to finish it. Lots of action and a great plot. Loved it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Twisted! This is an excellent debute. I've enjoyed the novels Gross has co-authored with James Patterson. This first solo of his is electrifying with ingenious blend of suspense. It pulls you into the story starting from the prologue. A true page-turner.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Bother. If you absolutely love everything that James Patterson has ever written - then go ahead buy this book. If your tired of Patterson's writing lately (wasn't your time on You've Been Warned) then pass. He has written books with Patterson and this is in the exact same style. There are so many better authors out there - read them instead!
