The Bottom - A story 15 years in the making.

The game, the dream, and the journey.

The year is 1999, approaching the new millennium. Micah “Mike” Postell, a former basketball star with a troubled past and unclear future, returns to Bartrum A&M, a small African-American University, after a two-year absence. He previously disappeared from the university and was forced to return to the ghetto in Philadelphia to take care of his ailing grandmother.

Mike decides to make an attempt to get his life back on track and possibly play basketball again. Upon arriving on campus, he is looked upon by the whole community as being the key for A&M to reach its goal of making it to the Big Tourney, a post-season college basketball tournament, for the first time in the school’s 105-year history.

But he is met with a series of unforeseen events that include academic troubles, jealousy, fights, love, and tragedy.

The movie coming soon!
