about

Edward has oodles of toys but doesn't share any of them with his little sister, Claire. She cannot ride his rocking horse, hug his teddy bear, or even think about touching his Slinky.

"They're mine!"

he says. That is, until one day when Edward finds himself stuck under his enormous pile of toys and can't move! With a little help from an unlikely ally, he learns that if he can share with others, they'll share right back with him.

Mike Reiss's wickedly funny verse and David Catrow's remarkable gift for comic illustration make this one book you'll want to share—again and again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A favorite! There is no higher praise a children's book can get than being some child's favorite book. This book was my child's favorite book . The rhyming makes it a joy to read and the pictures are engaging. The subtle changes in the boy's face from wrinkly and scowling to cheerful and pleasant are also a nice touch. "Edward was a frightful boy who wouldn't share a single toy. Even with his sister Claire, Edward simply would not share." Parents and children alike will have this one memorized in no time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's been re-read at least 100 x This book is a huge favorite in our home to the point my son can now recite the book page by page memorized. It is such a fun book with rhyming text which is very catchy. The illustration is beautiful and funky. We adore reading this book at bedtime. I highly recommend this book for your little ones. Especially if you have siblings whom are having a bit of an issue with sharing or a baby on the way it's a great way to get the topic of sharing going.
