Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4.5 I was a little wary in the beginning because I didn't think the romance was going to be very plausible. But I actually had no problem believing that Joe and Kate fell in love in the span of 48 hours - that's how well-developed the characters and the plot were! This novella was not very steamy, but it rather showed the relationship blossom between the two characters. We got to see them getting to know each other, becoming friends, and then eventually, lovers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Quick Fun Romance While I don't usually read modern romances, this was a fun and enjoyable story. Kate Preston's travel plans to get to her cousin's wedding across the country and being threatened by a massive storm system that is causing all sorts of cancellations and delays. Joe Firretti is finding is harder than expected to move across country to start his new job due to the same storm. The two meet enroute and their trip takes more than a few unexpected turns. This one sitting read is just long enough for the reader to get attached to Kate and Joe and be cheering for their budding relationship. I particularly liked the introduction of Kate's family and their influence over the romance.
