about

Once upon a time, a historical romance author created a family . . .

But not just any family. Eight brothers and sisters, assorted in-laws, sons and daughters, nieces and nephews (not to mention an overweight corgi) plus an irrepressible matriarch who's a match for any of them . . . These are the Bridgertons: less a family than a force of nature. Through eight bestselling novels, readers laughed, cried, and fell in love. But they wanted more.

And so the readers asked the author . . .

What happens next? Does Simon ever read his father's letters? Do Francesca and Michael become parents? Who would win in a Pall Mall grudge match?

Does "The End" really have to be the end?

Now, with The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After, Julia Quinn delivers eight sexy, funny, and heartwarming "2nd Epilogues" plus a bonus story about none other than the wise and witty matriarch Violet Bridgerton herself. So get to know the Bridgertons all over again—because Happily Ever After is a whole lot of fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful I'm so happy Julia Quinn decided to write second epilogues. I liked most of them, with the exception of Benedict's second epilogue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved it! I was so happy to re-visit the Bridgertons. I'd forgotten how funny and amusing they are. I was most delighted to read about Violet and Edmund. This made me feel a range of emotions. It was also really great to read the second epilogues. Most of them were really funny and sweet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This one didn't do it for me I was disappointed with this story... It totally didn't reignite my interest in the Bridgertons. I'd rather re-read her earlier works. This one just felt like a way to make extra money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally! A book that we'd all been waiting for telling us what happened to the Bridgertons after the stories ended. These are the sort of stories I long for when I've finished a series of books. I always want to know what happened in the future and this collection of epilogues-stories didn't disappoint! Highly recommended to any Julia Quinn fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love those Bridgertons! I'm so glad Julia wrote these and put them together in this book. I'm so glad I read them. I reread the entire series so that I would be current with the stories and the characters. I was able to experience Violet's growth for myself. I believe Julia did a fantastic job writing Violet in Bloom and it must have been incredibly difficult to do. I'm so happy with it. Yes, it was sad to experience Edmund dying but the tears came for me at the very end when she was talking with Daphne and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. It was splendid.
