She spent a month in law school, and did a short stint in the Canadian Armed Forces. While trying her hand at all of these occupations, she completed her MA at the University of Toronto i...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVED this book I think think this book was so great. I think I have read it at least 20 times. The entire series is just fantastic. I can totally connect with the carrecters. Gwen and Darra are my favourite. If you like fantasie books at all you just have to read it. O.R. Melling is an artist of words. You feel like the gwen and finabhar are acutally in the room with you. The feeling strike you so deep.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful! the Hunter's Moon has everything a fantasy lover could want. Action, adventure, romance, and fellowship are just some of the wonderful elements that set the stage for the rest of the Series. It is everything a person could want in a modern day fairy tale and provides characters that a reader can relate to. By far Melling's best book!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing This was my favourite book when I was 12, and I can still pick it up now, at 18, and enjoy every second of it. This book pulls you in from the first page and doesn't let go until the breathtaking finish. Make sure you read the next three books, The Summer King, The Light Bearer's Daughter and Book of Dreams, because they are just as amazing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rich and elegant A beautifully written book that, although is written for young adults, can appeal to anyone. The style is rich and detailed and Melling has a knack for making you feel as though you are there. It's a fantastic read.
