about

The full history of the Exploded Planet hypothesis. There is ample evidence across our solar system of cataclysmic and catastrophic destruction events, and many planets are scarred from incredible impacts, and teeter in their orbits from unexplained causes. Rejecting naturalist and materialist assumptions of catastrophism forwarded by other researchers, Farrell seriously asserts that the causes are based in ancient myths of a Cosmic War in the heavens. Incorporating extraterrestrial artifacts, cutting-edge ideas in contemporary physics, and the texts of ancient myths into his argument, Farrell maintains that an ancient interplanetary war was fought in our own solar system with weapons of extraordinary power and sophistication. Includes: secret technology behind the ancient Tablets of Destinies. the ancient texts telling of such destructions: from Sumeria (Tiamats destruction by Marduk), Egypt (Edfu and the Mars connections), Greece (Saturns role in the War of the Titans) and the ancient Americas * ancient and current mechanisms which could explode planets * the true scientific reason for our solar system's asteroid belt

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Draft of a Book Cosmic War had potential to connect mythology, mysterious structures, and modern scientific discoveries to support the hypothesis of an advanced "paleo-ancient" civilization at war in the solar system. Cosmic War is a draft of a book. Adventures Unlimited Press did a poor editing job on verbosity. Joseph Farrell raised some good points on ancient texts. Mostly, he lost focus such as on mechanics of laser gratings relative to the Tablets of Destinies - a weak link. He tossed in channelers briefly in poor context to the tablets and lasers. Earth remnants of human giants were off-worlders from the cosmic war and destruction of Tiamat (our asteroid belt) 3.2 million yeas ago as per Van Flandern's calculation. Farrell implied that our genetic relatives, advanced space-faring ancient human giant refugees failed to recover in 3.2 million years from a primitive state until their extinction a few centuries ago on Earth. Yet we developed quickly in just two centuries. Farrell also stated human giants attained heights of 12 feet or so due to higher gravity on their planet. He didn't factor food supply, genetics, and living conditions for this assertion. Higher gravity could create smaller people. The dating of the great biblical flood as a result of this war disagrees with a cosmic war 3.2 million years ago. He slipped in Noah's ark story as possibly from another planet's history. Sloppy connections throughout. Farrell implied that the Anunnaki gods were physical beings only to slip in the plasma-beings argument to tie loose-ends. The end was good with moon and Martian anomalies from Hoagland's and Bara's work. Cosmic War quotes many authors.
