This is the only Chinese astrology book you'll ever need!

You may be familiar with the Chinese birth-year animals, but did you know you actually have four of them? Each year, each month, each day, and each two-hour period of the day is distinct and denoted by a particular animal sign (branch) and one of the five elements (stems).

In The Definitive Book of Chinese Astrology, you will learn how to forecast your love- and life-cycles; understand the indicators of health, wealth, and happiness in your chart; and identify balances and cures.

You will also discover Zi Wei Dou Shu, the best-kept astrological secret for millennia and formerly accessible only to royalty. The most accurate and profound divination tool ever discovered - a sort of Dewey decimal system of the universe - this system of astrology will help you identify your inborn capabilities, achievement potential, and life path.

Finally, you will learn about the Eastern astrological subspecialties, including the I-Ching, feng shui, 9 Star Ki, and Chinese palmistry.

The included interactive CD-Rom makes it easy to create Chinese astrological charts for yourself, your friends, and family members.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from GOOD, BUT... I loved all of Shelly Wu's other books and could not wait for this one to come out! It does have a lot of great information, and it is well presented. For example, I found the section on Zi Wei Dou Shu very enlightening. However, the major problem I have with it is the interactive CD. To use the book to analyze people we know, it is essential to input birth information into the program. The CD is not compatible with my Mac, and it glitches with my computer at work, so every time I want to use it I must find someone willing to lend me their computer. Also, there are spots in the information that comes out on the computer readout that I find might be incorrect; I know enough to calculate Chinese years on my own, and sometimes the program gives me an incorrect year sign, so I cannot be sure the rest of the information is correct. Finally, although the book contains sections on the I Ching, Chinese palmistry, Feng Shui, Star Ki, and the Emperor's Destiny Chart, the treatment is passing at best: just a couple of pages recommending that if interested, you find another book on the subject. In summary, it claims more than it can deliver, but the sections on the Four Pillars of Destiny and Zi Wei Dou Shu are detailed and well-presented.
