Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Book My golden retriever puppy was out of control. I sat and read the book, frequently shaking my head, knowing that my dog would never do the things the author claimed would happen. Well, amazingly within two weeks I had a new dog. Her behaviour completely turned around. No longer does she chew up entire rooms or go nuts when visitors come or bolt away at the first open door. Amazing stuff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Understanding your Dog's Perspective! This is an excellent book for anyone who wants to better understand their dog's perspective of life in the family. It certainly helped us to add a Golden Retriever to our family and adjust her habits acquired in her previous family to ones that worked better for us in ours. A must read for everyone who wants to enjoy a happy coexistent with their pet--- those with dogs who suddenly start displaying unacceptable behaviour, those who have just added older dogs to their family, and those with new puppies to train.
