I bought this book after falling on gardening TV shows featuring Alys and fell in love with her whimsical and down to earth approach to gardening. Her tips are wonderful and I love that this books covers you from start to finish : how to raise your crops, how to save your seeds and how to preserve and cook your bounty. Her approach to edible landscaping is a real delight and you will find everything that you need to know to start making your own, even recommandations of color and plants if ever you wish to grow a particular palette in your garden. Definitely a must for beginners and intermediate gardeners :)
