From Our Editors

Through strange, sparse images Edward Gorey reveals a way of looking at the world that makes it hard to look away. Epiplectic Bicycle doesn't make a lot of sense but nevertheless manages to tell a story that captures your imagination. The dream world of Gorey's twisted mind seems boundless when you browse through this surrealistic book. Although generally thought of as a children's author, his dark humour and grown-up insights continuously appeal to adults with a sense of fun.
